จบไปแล้วสำหรับงาน The Game Awards 2023 หลังจากที่ได้มีการเผยชื่อแคนดิเดตเข้าชิงรางวัล Game of the Year 2023 โดยเกมที่เข้าชิงมีดังต่อไปนี้
- Alan Wake 2
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Resident Evil 4 Remake
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
โดย The Game Awards ในครั้งนี้ ค่อนข้างที่จะยาวเเละมีเกมใหม่ ๆ รวมถึงปล่อย Release Date เยอะเเยะมากมาย เเต่ไฮไลต์ก็คือรางวัลที่ใหญ่ที่สุดอย่าง Game of the Year 2023 นี้ตกเป็นของ Baldur’s Gate 3 ที่เรียกได้ว่าประชาชนชาวเกมเมอร์มีมติเป็นเอกฉันท์
นอกจากนี้ ทาง Baldur’s Gate 3 ยังกวาดอีก 6 รางวัล Best Community Support, Best RPG Game, Player’s Voice (ขวัญใจมหาชน), Best Role Playing Game,ฺ Best Multiplayer Game, Best Performance โดยนักแสดง Neil Newbon ผู้รับบทเป็น Astarion
