Over a foot of snow & counting in NYC ❄️ Blizzard conditions with whiteout winds and heavy snowfall swept through the city today, shutting everything down. Schools are closed for a traditional snow day, and all non-essential vehicles are banned from NYC streets through Monday as part of an emergency travel restriction. Early morning, people were mostly inside, except the crews battling snow across the city and a few brave souls out in it. Signs, streets, and billboards buried. Roads are so overwhelmed that the minute plows pull away, snow piles right back up. I spent two hours out here documenting the storm this morning… Stay tuned for more ☃️????
